Historic Lion's Head Bed and Breakfast has a rich and interesting history. It was built in 1910 by Niagara Falls architect, J.A. Phillips for Hugh Wilson, Superintendent of the Toronto Electric Development which is located at the Falls of Niagara. The historical fact that Lion's Head was the first poured foundation home in the Niagara Region, allows it today to remain one of the few homes that is completely orginal and restoration has not been required.
An Edwardian/Arts and Craft design that has hints of Wright in its straight lines and open concept for that period. Wonderful interiors with leaded-crystal windows, magnificent staircase and rare pocket doors, finished off with a great exterior in the grand front porch.
Original architectural drawings of the home have been passed on to each owner.
