Historic Lion's Head was built in 1910 by Niagara Falls architect J.A. Phillips, for Hugh Wilson, Superintendent of the Toronto Electric Development, located at the Falls of Niagara.
The Lion's Head was the first poured foundation home in the Niagara Region, allowing it to remain today one of the few homes that is completely original with no restoration required.
An Edwardian/Arts and Craft design that has hints of Wright in its straight lines and open concept for that period. Wonderful interiors with leaded-crystal windows, magnificent staircase and rare pocket doors, finished off with a great exterior in the grand front porch.
Original architectural drawings of the home have been passed on to each owner. |
